Daniel S I've been DJ-ing on and off since 1990. When I was twelve, in 1986, I caught the music bug and started buying loads of records - at least that's what my parents thought. At that time I wasn't into any specific genre of music, I just bought the records I liked the most at the moment. It could be a pop record, a reggae song or plain old rock'n'roll.

When I was thirteen I started listening to a radioshow called "Soul Corner" on national Swedish radio P3. The guy presenting the show was Mats Nileskär, a real profile on Swedish radio with the coolest Whisky-voice ever heard. Mats used to play (and still plays) all sorts of music of black origin, be it hip hop, soul, funk or house music. This was also the time when I got in touch with DJing at school dances and youth clubs. I got intrigued by the concept of mixing records together and decided to give it a go myself.
